Hi, I'm Esther.
I've been a fintech and finance operator and marketer for about 15 years. I started my career working for McKinsey & Co. and then got lucky with my first startup experience as an early employee at Venmo. I also had the opportunity to completely rebrand one of the most successful private equity firms, Alpine Investors, as their head of marketing. I'm now a part-time freelancer and investor who is lucky enough to choose the people with whom I work and the type of work that I do every day.
Why I Started This Newsletter
I meet with a lot of founders and entrepreneurs. I advise them, I freelance for them, I invest in them. And sometimes they make the same silly mistakes over and over again. Some of them learn from their mistakes, and some of them don't. I started this newsletter for founders and startup leaders who are open to learning from their own mistakes and from the mistakes of others.
